Rosa De Martinis is a licensed massage therapist, registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and an active member of the Registered Massage Therapist Association.
Rosa loves anything to do with people, health, and the body. She has always been interested in how the body heals innately, how it functions in the presence of various stressors, and how individuals subjectively view their own health. She pursued this interest academically at Lambton College.
Through her practice and personal life she has seen first-hand how physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, social, and financial stressors can cause ailments throughout the body that manifest themselves differently in each person. This is why Rosa practices patient-centred care that focuses on an individual’s health needs and goals. Rosa believes that empowering her patients through health education is essential to proactive health care and wellness. She believes massage therapy plays a key role in dealing with many of life’s stressors, and is essential for long-term health and wellness.
Throughout Rosa’s years of practicing Massage Therapy, she has specialized in treatments for Sciatica, Low Back Pain, Frozen Shoulder, Plantar Fasciitis, Shin Splints, Whiplash, Sinusitis, Headache/Migraine Relief, Parkinson’s Disease, Pregnancy and Infant Massage.
Rosa is committed to continuously growing and learning in her field. She is currently studying Acupressure with the National Wellness Institute of Education. Rosa is excited to be working at Russolo Therapy Centre and looks forward to becoming your massage therapist and working together to achieve your optimal health.
