What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a focused technique directed at feet or hands. There are zones and reflexes of different parts of the body, which correspond and relate to all parts, glands and organs of the entire body.
Did you know?
Each foot has over 1,000 nerve endings, 26 bones, 107 ligaments and 19 muscles.
How does it work?
When the reflexes are stimulated, the body’s natural electrical energy works along the nervous system to clear blockages in the corresponding zones. Reflexology sessions break up deposits that interfere with the body’s electrical energy and the nervous system. Manipulating specific reflexes removes stress and helps the body to become calm and stress free. With stress removed and circulation enhanced, the body is allowed to return to a state of comfort and harmony.
What are the benefits?
Reflexology demonstrates 4 main benefits:
– Relaxation and the removal of stress
– Enhanced circulation
– Assists the body to normalize the metabolism naturally
– Compliments all other healing modalities
